Victoria Morrison is a skillful and dynamic professional with a solid education and cross functional experience developing and managing effective programs; leveraging expertise to create programs that drive employee engagement and continuous learning, while promoting positive change from within.
Victoria was the founding program manager for the Generation You Employed Customer Service/workforce development program. In partnership with the Greater Washington Urban League and the Department of Employment Services in Washington DC. Ms. Morrison is credited with graduating over 104 students (73%) and placing 83 (81%). She initiated relationships with 40 employer partners each of whom have hired one or more graduates.
Ms. Morrison brings her life experience as a mother, educational achievement as a Doctor of Business in Administration candidate, with a focus in Leadership. Victoria attributes her success to being highly relatable, transparent and nurturing; along with sharing the love she has for cooking, with her students/mentees. Ms. Morrison, is a self-taught home cook and entrepreneur and utilized her creative abilities in the kitchen, to launch a private chef business to share the passion she has for southern and Caribbean fused cuisine.
Ms. Morrison utilized this talent as a vehicle to close the communication gap which was present in the demographic she encountered on a daily basis, along with stressing the importance of entrepreneurship and supporting black owned small businesses.
Ms. Morrison is a committed servant leader and continues to work tirelessly to assist disconnected young adults with overcoming barriers that will create sustainability and stop the domino effect of disparity, homelessness, unemployment, and increase self-love and community preservation.
Victoria uses all of her spare time to promote to the continuous advocacy for the young adults in the Washington DC and metropolitan area, and due the to valuable partnerships she has been credited with, each entity has come to rely on her for her valuable leadership. Victoria has a strong passion for empowering others, and believes that even the smallest contribution to our community is a task everyone is able to achieve. The daughter of a retired Marine, she grew up, and currently resides in Maryland. While away from work, Victoria enjoys spending time with her children, is a private chef and loves to entertain. She is a founding member and will be serving on the board of the CARE Foundation in the capacity of Deputy Executive Director (VP).
